When a group of refugees tries to enter Europe illegally by boat, a storm suddenly appears, causing chaos when an old man falls overboard. Transported into a dark, hallucinatory place, his soul is carried away to observe the hopeless reality of castaway refugees at the border of Europe, their alleged paradise.
