The Moomins’ adventure is, despite its French joie de vivre, full of the knowing wit and wry Nordic wisdom which have ensured their popularity since 1945. A treat for the whole family.

The Moomins, along with Snorkmaiden and Little My, sail for the French Riviera. There, Snorkmaiden is dazzled by the attention of the playboy Clark Tresco while Moominpappa befriends an aristocrat. Exasperated, Moomin and Moominmamma decide to move to the beach in order to escape all the glamorous escapades.
We hate to say it, but we can't find anywhere to view this film.

This is a simple, sweet tale about the basic pleasures of home and hearth, rendered unflashily in a delightful style of hand-drawn animation that employs a beautiful array of warm pastel colours.
