Laura Portmann is a young doctor who joins a long-haul cargo spaceflight with a crew kept in suspended animation. Earth has been ravaged by climate change, so humanity has taken to the stars to look for a habitable new home in the form of distant planet Rhea. A death onboard will disrupt their journey, however.
