Brief Encounters(Короткие встречи)

After leaving their native village, Nadia (Nina Ruslanova at her debut) and her friend travel to the big city. Along the way, Nadia gets a job in a tea shop and meets Maxim (Russian icon Vladimir Vysotsky), and she falls in love with him and decides to finally go to the city. There, she is hired as a maid by Valentina Ivanovna (played by the film's director), a civil servant, who also has a relationship with Maxim.
