What are critics saying?
Village Voice by Chris Packham
The white saviors are flat, 2D manifestations of virtue... And the film's Indians? They aren't characters at all.
The New York Times by Daniel M. Gold
The movie covers almost three decades choppily. But Mr. Camarago and Mr. Miguel convey the stubborn commitment that made the brothers so revered by the tribes.
The Hollywood Reporter by Neil Young
Awkwardly condensing more than 20 years into a running-time well under two hours, director/co-writer Cao Hamburger needs a bigger canvas for his well-intentioned but underpowered saga.
