When a pizza delivery driver is shot dead in south London, Detective Inspector Kip Glaspie is assigned to the case. Refusing to see it as a random act of violence, she gets more and more drawn into the underworld of London. As the investigation develops, a politician and a vicar find themselves connected to the crime.
