In Iceland, it is believed that underneath the country is a magical alternate realm of elves. This documentary follows Ragga, a "seer" who is purportedly able to communicate with them. When economic development threatens to destroy the volcanic rock that houses her beloved elves, she bands together with environmentalists to stop the construction.
The Seer and the Unseen has more to offer by showing us the kind and gentle landscape and people of Iceland. It’s best to take the movie for what it is at face value. If you’re the type of person, who just wants to mock an old lady, then you best move on to a different film.

Nature is the most fascinating element of The Seer and the Unseen, but Dosa is more focused on Ragga and the elves.
