A group of friends, coming to the end of their school years, fill their days with sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. The fourth and final work of Maurice Pialat's cycle of 1970s films depicts group of friends in the economically depressed North of France, coming to the end of their high school years. Sex and drugs can only provide temporary distraction from the approaching Baccalauréat, the final set of exams that will determine their future.
