Kon-Tiki

In 1948, six Scandinavian scientists, led by Thor Heyerdahl, sailed from South America to the Polynesian Islands in 101 days using only a wooden raft. Their goal was to prove Heyerdajl's own disputed theory that the Polynesian Islands were populated from the east—specifically Peru—rather than from the west.
