The Promise(Das Versprechen)

In 1961, Konrad, Sophie, and their friends plan an escape from East Berlin into West Germany. After Konrad is left behind, he and Sophie try to meet again over the next 28 years, using Konrad’s connections as a reputed astrophysicist. But as the Stasi strictly monitors anyone suspicious, it becomes harder to preserve their privacy and ideals.
