Joaquín Góñez, an elderly artist, remembers his turbulent youth spent in Buenos Aires under the rule of Juan Perón. He recalls old friends and his relationship with his mother, Roma. With the help of a young journalist he hopes to transform these memories into his final masterwork -- his autobiography.
