The Danish Poet

A woman narrates the story of her parent’s relationship. In the 1940s, a Danish poet named Kaspar Jørgensen was seeking inspiration. He travels to Norway to meet a famous author, but falls in love with a farmer’s daughter named Ingeborg. After proposing, he learns that she is already engaged. Ingeborg promises not to cut her hair until they are reunited.
