Curro Jiménez

Set in 19th-century Southern Spain, “Curro Jimenez” follows the adventures of the titular character, an Andulusian “bandolero,” or Robin-Hood-like bandit. Jimenez and his gang of bandits--fair, brave, and good-natured--lead guerrilla forces against the French troops during the Spanish War of Independence in an epic story of romance, justice, and independence.
