Neon Genesis Evangelion(新世紀エヴァンゲリオン)

In the year 2000, terrifying Angels descended on Earth, seeking to wipe out humanity in an apocalyptic fury. Post-attack, mankind's last remnants moved underground to await the day when the Angels would return to finish the job. Fifteen years later, that day has come, but this time humanity is ready to fight back with bio-mechanical weapons known as Evangelions.
