Rosvo-Roope is a Finnish adventure and comedy film directed by Hannu Leminen. It is based on Rafael Ramstedt's well-known song "Balladi Rosvo-Roopesta", recorded in 1931. The film is set in a 18th-century fantasy-like pirate setting reminiscent of the Caribbean Sea in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland.
