The Proud Valley

David, a young African American man with a beautiful singing voice, arrives in a small Welsh coal mining valley seeking employment. When he is employed at the local coal mine, David begins to form strong bonds with his new friends, which eventually leads him to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save them.
