After being sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in four armed robberies—that resulted in two women’s deaths—Pierre Goldman appears in court for a second time to plead not guilty to the murder charges. During this 1971 trial, Goldman, a left-wing activist, continues to share his beliefs and becomes somewhat of a French hero.
