Struggling with the loss of her father, and feeling overshadowed by his legacy, Chiara Mastroianni decides to impersonate him. Going by "Marcello" and in disguise, Chiara lives as her father, attempting to understand him better. At first those around her assume it to be a phase, but as time passes, Chiara becomes more fixed in her identity as "Marcello".
