The story of three people: Michelle, who has just been released from a psychiatric facility and tasked with maintaining a drug regimen to treat her schizophrenia; Michelle's sister Marie, a singer and actress who must undergo a procedure to remove a brain tumor; and the neurosurgeon Thomas who will perform Marie's operation.
