In 1930s Germany, a Rabbi and family man witnessing fascism and antisemitism gaining popularity remains optimistic about the future safety of his home. Years later, he and his wife are deported and their young son, David, is banned from his school. Separated from his parents and alone in the increasingly dangerous country, David must find a way to escape Germany.
