Farewells(Pożegnania)

Pawel, a member of a conservative, middle-class family, is in love with Lidka, a taxi dancer, but social conventions thwart Pawel and Lidka's ability to be together. As times change and war breaks out, Pawel is sent to Auschwitz while Lidka marries his cousin, but will their love survive as conventions no longer matter?
