Looking for a shot at redemption, disgraced cop Frank Penny goes rogue to save a police chief's 11-year-old daughter. But to find the girl Frank will need the help of vlogger Ava Brooks, whose live-streaming news channel is broadcasting Frank's every move.
Fortunately, the new actioner directed by the prolific Steven C. Miller (First Kill, Arsenal, Marauders) proves fast-paced enough to overcome its more ludicrous plot elements.
There’s scarcely a minute of the amped-up action movie Line of Duty that isn’t absolutely ridiculous … and scarcely a minute that isn’t mindlessly entertaining.
