Love Among the Ruins

Set in 1911, a former actress of the London theatre is being sued for a breach of promise. She hires the best bannister as her lawyer, a man who she seduced and abandoned decades before. Together they fight to win the case, as her past relationships and reputation are brought to the forefront of the stage.
