The Adventures of Prince Achmed(Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed)

Loosely based on stories from One Thousand and One Nights, this film tells the story of Prince Achmed and his quest to save his sister from the clutches of a villainous sorcerer. Believed to be the earliest surviving animated feature, the film uses a silhouette animation technique pioneered by its director, Lotte Reiniger.
