Pascal Marchand is an aspiring poet working as a winemaker in Burgundy, inspired by the techniques of the Cistercian monks. In the difficult 2016 season, his vineyard suffers from frosts, hailstorms, and disease. Pascal is forced to confront the devastating consequences of climate change in this cautionary tale and love letter to winemaking.
