Ultraman(ウルトラマン)

Hideaki Anno's first Ultraman fan film, an 8mm short made at Osaka University of Arts in 1980. With minimalist effects, Hideaki Anno replicates an episode of the classic series where he himself portrays Ultraman. It would be followed by the more well known Return of Ultraman short in 1983. A partial recreation of this short was featured in the Blue Blazes (Aoi Honō) TV series.
