Canadian-Swiss filmmaker Peter Mettler and his crew embark on a journey to the remote town of Churchill, Manitoba in order to film the notoriously camera-shy Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. The film meditates on nature and technology, and the notion of what can truly be known by mankind.
