As Antonia enters adulthood, she navigates friendship, love and politics in the turbulence of late 20th century Corsica. While working as a press photographer in Yugoslavia, and back home in Corsica, Antonia's life, and the lives of those around her, feature a continuous fight towards both personal and national independence.
