War and Peace, Part IV: Pierre Bezukhov(Война и Мир 4: Пьер Безухов)

As Moscow is set ablaze by the retreating Russians, Pierre, dressed as a peasant, tries to assassinate Napoleon but is taken captive. As the French armies retreat, Pierre marches with them for months until being freed by a raiding party. The French are eventually defeated. After the war, Natasha reunites with Pierre and they marry.
