Olympia Part One: Festival of the Nations(Olympia - Fest der Völker)

One of the most influential and controversial documentaries of all time. Commissioned by Adolf Hitler to celebrate Germany's athletic superiority at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, instead we see African American sprinter Jesse Owens dominate on his way to four gold medals. The documentary also pioneered slow motion suspense and emphasis on the athletes.
