Celso Afonso Gay de Castro was born in 1943 and died at the age of 41, in 1984, in Porto Alegre. Between his birth and his premature death, shrouded in mystery, he lived a life of militancy, successive exiles, loves and children. The documentary creates a travel diary through the countries that Celso lived while in exile – Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, France – that were also the countries of the director’s childhood, Celso’s daughter. A trajectory beyond History: a family, with children, dogs, bags always being done and undone, but that also refer to a generation of left wing militants of the 60’s and 70’s. –São Paulo International Film Festival
