Adrian LeDuc, a British man living in Buenos Aires, is the lonely owner of a failing cinema that must rent out the spare room in his apartment to make ends meet. When Adrian first rents the room to the friendly and confident Jack Carney, he is drawn to the American's charms, but soon begins to suspect that there is more to his roommate than meets the eye.
