The Whale and the Raven

Set in the Tshiman Territory along the West coast of Canada, this documentary highlights the difficulties of environmental activists in their attempts to block the use of oil tankers in the region. Leading researchers and people from the Gitga’at First Nations provide commentary on the effects the tankers have on the environment, the wildlife, and traditions of the people.
