A short film directed by Agnès Varda in 1986 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the French Cinematheque, showcasing the 50 steps which lead up to the Musée du cinéma and down to the auditorium, juxtaposed with clips from famous films, also involving stairs. Narrated by Isabelle Adjani.
