The Mexican Suitcase(La maleta mexicana)

This documentary follows the extraordinary recovery of 4,500 photographic negatives depicting the Spanish Civil War taken by journalists, after being lost at the start of World War II. The photos, lost in a suitcase hidden in a closet in Mexico City, make their way back to Spain, bringing to light an untold history of Spain's great national struggle of the 20th century.
