Death Drums Along the River

When a cop is killed over a mysterious pouch, the British colonial commissioner tracks down the killer and the package's source. Suspecting a connection to diamond mines, he looks into the aging doctor running a hospital on a prime smuggling route, and as he does, develops strong feelings for the new doctor.
