After the suicide of an Iranian refugee living in Canada, filmmaker Masoud Raouf created this documentary to examine the lives of Iranian former political prisoners who fled to Canada, including himself. Using interviews, archival footage, and art, Raouf sheds light on the democratic activists of 1979 and their struggles under the country's religious rule.
