Witek runs after a train. Will he catch it? Three variations follow depicting how this one incident could influence the rest of Witek's life. In one, he makes the train and joins the Communist Party. In the second, he is arrested and becomes an anti-Communist and religious. In the third, he avoids politics and focuses on family.
