It is 1997 and in just one week, South Korea will go under sovereign default. Han Shi-Hyun, leader of monetary policy at the Bank of Korea and the first to predict the crisis, is assigned to a specialized team hoping to stop national financial ruin. Meanwhile, financier Yoon Jung-Yak bets big on the default, as family man Gab-Soo struggles to survive.
