The Boxing Girls of Kabul

This short documentary follows a group of Afghan women training to compete as boxers in the 2012 Olympics. The film shows the challenges the women face inside and outside of the ring, focusing on their personal journeys as they fight to compete for their country amidst a difficult social and political situation.
